Chapter Fourteen
Do you believe that Mia is right in holding herself responsible for Mango's death?
I don't feel that Mia should feel that the killed mango. I think that she is so sad that she is hysterical and she thinks that if she has anything to do with mango that he would be mad at her.
I really don't think it was her that caused Mango's death, but under the circumstances, I can understand why she would think that it might have been her who had done it. Maybe because she forgot to give him his pill MIGHT have played a SMALL part in it, but Mango was not very heathly even when she found him and probobly was not supposed to live as long as he actually did...
Great points, Shannon. When someone close to us dies, we usually have the tendency to think or say, "What if?" We often hold ourselves responsible for something that could have changed things. I think it is part of the human condition.
I don't think that she should feel responsible at all.

ReplyDeleteWhy do you feel that way, Nick?
