Chapter Eight
In this chapter, Mia used her ability to see letters as colors to help her cheat on a math quiz. Do you think she was wrong to do this? Do you think she took the easy way out?
I am not really sure. well first of all i wouldn't really call it cheating i would say it is using her special abilities to help her. so in a way i do think it was wrong but in another way im not totally disagreeing with her choice.
I agree that she was wrong to do it, and she DID take the easy way out, but not for herself. Instead, for her Mom and Dad so they would be proud of her and not think she was dumb or anything.
I wouldn't say that she was doing it for her parents i think she is doing it to get out of summer school and woukldn't share that with my parent becasue i know that they definitely would not be proud of me.
I think that Mia was wrong to cheat on the test and that she took the easy way out and that she could have tried to complete the test without cheating.
I agree with your second comment, Hannah. I dont think it was good of her to do this and I think she was just doing it to get out of summer school. Because when she heard that she might have to, it seemed like she was really shocked.And I think she did take the easy way out. Instead of doing that, why not just tell the teacher that you are going to be working with a tutor?
Yes I think she was wrong to do this, and she did take the easy way out. I think she should have tried her best.
