Jack 7
On page 306 Jack says " a part of me will always be right here, right now, with that giant eye in the sky shining down on me, telling me it's going to be alright. What do you think Jack means by this?
I think so too. I think that he has finally found the place where he can be happy, and that place is at Moon Shadow with Ally. He also can finally pass his science class.
I agree with Nick and Matt. I think he has grown to love the Moon Shadow, because he got healthier, made lots of new friends, and really found out who he is ans wants to be. I think he feels free at the Moon Shadow, where no is telling him who to be, or what to do, but he can live his own life the way HE wants.
I agree with all of you guys. I think what that means is that even after he leaves, a part of him will always have a space to remember Moon Shadow. He-like Shannon said- has grown to like it for his new friends, and because they treat him like he's REAL, and he actually MATTERS.
i think it means that after he saw that and held Ally's hand and watched the eclipse which hethought was absolutely beautiful that now even if he might never see Ally again that he always has her in his heart and he is always going to be safe. this reminds me of the book "The kissing Hand" the childrens book.
I think this moment inspired him. I think this memory will help him feel free like lucid dreaming.
