Why do you think Jack ended up coming to the eclipse? Why do you Jack came up to Ally, and held her hand?
I think Jack came to the eclipse by default. He had to bring the little boy back, and when he saw how amazing the eclipse was he couldnt leave. I think he held Ally's hand because he really likes her.
Yes I agree about him holding Ally's hand but I think he came to the eclipse because he had a change of heart and wanted Pete to see it but also wanted to see it for himself.
I think he went there on accident because he had to bring back Pete and then he noticed that the Eclipse was happening and was mezmorized by it, like Nick said. I think he held her hand because he really, REALLY likes her, as a friend and more than that, and he realized that this was the last time he might ever get to see her for a long time.
I agree with Shannon. Eclipses are probably very beautiful and interesting... maybe a once in a lifetime experience. Jack probably just got sucked into the moment. And it was probably one of his last times seeing Ally, so he wanted to make the moment special. And they both know they like each other soooo... no biggie.
All good points, but before he even met up with Pete he changed his mind about going up to the shed, instead deciding to go to the party. What do you think changed his mind?
I don't really know why he changed his mind at first i just thought he got stuck i that situation by being off time with pete. and i think jack held Allys hand because he likes her and he likes hanging out with her because she is nice.
I think he changed his mind out of respect for Ally, because she is a really good friend to him and he got sucked into the eclipse while bringing Pete back.
