Bree 6

Melanie and Bree have very different advice for Kenny and Ally about how to survive in a new school. Jack also offers his own take on fitting in at school. Which character’s advice and experience at school do you identify with more — Melanie, Bree, or Jack — and why? Which character would you want for your friend in a new school?

    I'd have to say Melanie. I like what she said about if you don't show fear, people will respect you. I would also want her to be my friend in school because she is nice, and doesn't seem mean. I also like how she always tries to encourage and comfort everyone.

    I also think Melanie. I would say Melanie because I too like what she said about if you don't show fear, people will respect you. I would also pick Melanie to be my friend because she is kind and she does not really care what people think of the way she looks.

    I agree about the if you don't show fear you will gain respect from your peers. I think i would want Jack to be my friend because i kind of relate to i'm about wanting to do what i am passionate of which is also drawing but there could be other things that I could be embarrassed about, which i think also that that is the way Bree feels about what i said in the other "Bree 6" question about showing what might be embarrassing to her.

    I think Melanie, definitely. Because she is a very outgoing person and is not afraid to do things or speak up for herself. I think she gave much better advice then Bree because Bree's idea of fitting in wouldn't fit people like us. Melanie's idea is much more satisfying.

    I am torn between Jack and Melanie because Jack it seems like would make a good friend but would need cheering up all the time and Melanie seems like she would also be a good friend but at times she seems like she is frustrating to deal with.

    I think that's smart to think, Matt. I am having a little trouble deciding. Well, actually, I think Jack would be a good person to have to help me get to know the school, and all the things around it. But, Melanie would be a good friend to have, like, the whole school year.

    I agree Alex. I also think that MAYBE Bree would be a good friend after being in Moon Shadow, if she DOES move back...

    I'm not so sure about that Shannon, I think that she would have a lot to think about and a lot to change if she was to be a good friend.

    I think Bree would be a good person if moving to Moon Shadow changes her, she would be a good friend to someone just like Ally was a good friend to her!
