Jack 5
Final two sentences (page 208): "I know she's thinking about leaving and how hard it will be. I know because I'm thinking the same thing."
Please discuss what you think this means from Jack's point of view.
I think that he's thinking that it is going to be hard for both him and Ally to leave the camp. Him, because he is learning so much and having a cool time, and Ally, because she has lived there her whole life and now she will have to part all her memories, feelings of the future, and her entire career.
I think the exact same thing as Alex. I think he means that it will be hard for him to leave because he likes staying at the Moon Shadow, so he feels like he is, in a way, feeling like Ally because she is also in a few weeks be leaving the Moon Shadow.
I agree with Alex and Nick that Jack wont want to leave Moon Shadow because he likes it so much, and because he has made friends like Ally, Pete and Stella. And Ally because she is leaving soon and the only place she has even known is Moon Shadow.
I think he thinks she is thinking it is so hard to be leaving because she has been there most of her life and kenny has been there his whole life so it will be very hard to adapt to where they will be and another bad part is the she loses the stars and her dreams of finding a comet. I don't understand though how he could relate to what she is going through but it might be possible.
I think he might be talking about leaving Moon Shadow and leaving Ally. I think this because he has come to like Ally and when Ryan was talking about Bree as a hottie Jack thought he was talking about Ally.
